The District is required by the CDE to do a review every 3 years on our School Wellness Policy.  The review committee is required to include parents/guardians, students, PE teachers, Health Staff, Board members and administration of the district.
We have set aside May 4, 4-5:30pm for discussion of the policy.  This could be an in-person meeting or zoom, that is yet to be determined.  The policy itself can stay as it currently is written or we can input new practices and reevaluate current practices. The specific topics of the policy are required, it's the language and/or practices we can review or change.
If you like to be a part of this committee, please send an email to [email protected].  There will be more info to come.  We welcome any input you may have.
