Dear SUSD Families,

We hope you are enjoying a relaxing, fun-filled summer with family and friends! While summer has provided time to recharge, our staff has been hard at work preparing for another incredible year of learning, growth, and connection. We are thrilled to welcome students back on Thursday, August 13, 2026, and can't wait to see our classrooms once again filled with curiosity, laughter, and excitement.

Whether your family is returning to Sebastopol Union or joining us for the very first time, welcome! We are proud to be a district where every child is known, valued, and encouraged to discover their unique strengths. From our youngest Tiger Cubs at Park Side to our Brook Haven Warriors preparing for high school, our schools are filled with opportunities for students to learn, lead, create, explore, and grow.

This year promises to be another exceptional one. Students can look forward to engaging classroom experiences, enriching arts and music programs, athletics, outdoor learning, student leadership opportunities, and meaningful experiences that help them build confidence, character, and lifelong skills. Our dedicated teachers and staff remain committed to creating joyful, inclusive learning environments where students are challenged, supported, and inspired every day.

Sebastopol Union School District is truly a special place because of the strong partnerships among our students, families, staff, and community. Together, we create schools where every child feels a sense of belonging and has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are grateful for your continued trust and partnership as we embark on another exciting school year together.
