Dear SUSD Families,
Thank you to the many families, staff members, and volunteers who made last Friday’s Multicultural Night celebration such a joyful and meaningful evening. We are especially grateful to event organizers Crista Mason, Julia Van Soelen Kim, and Flannery Norton, along with our DELAC families and all who hosted country tables, prepared traditional foods, shared performances, and welcomed guests with open arms.
With more than 400 community members in attendance and over 15 countries represented, the evening was a powerful reflection of who we are as a district. Events like this remind us that the diversity of our families. along with the wide range of cultures, languages, and traditions represented in our schools, is one of our greatest strengths.
When we come together to learn from and celebrate one another, we strengthen our entire community.
Thank you for helping make our schools places where every culture is honored and appreciated. Please take a minute to click the link below and read the wonderful Sebastopol Times article and enjoy additional photos.
We look forward to expanding this event next year!
