Welcome to Sebastopol Union School District!
It is my honor to be the Superintendent of the Sebastopol Union School District. My priority is to ensure that the community knows about our schools, supports them, and sends their children to them. Our family-friendly, caring environments feel very "small-town" while encompassing the big ideas of global citizenship.

We have two schools - Park Side School serving Kindergarten through 5th grade students, and Brook Haven School, serving Kindergarten through 8th grade students.
 Park Side Elementary serves Kindergarten through 5th graders. Park Side has recently become authorized as an International Baccalaureate (IB) School offering the Primary Years Program. Instruction is provided in primarily single-graded classrooms and reflects the curriculum and instructional strategiespromoted by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) designed to develop students who are "Internationally-minded.” Park Side is the home to approximately 220 students. |
 Brook Haven School, formerly the District's Middle School, is now our K-8 school. With the closure of the Pine Crest campus at the end of 2010-11, the Multi-Age Program moved to Brook Haven. Students can now enter Brook Haven as Kindergartners and graduate as 8th graders. There are K-2 and 3-5 classrooms, a core program for 6th graders to help with the transition to departmentalized instruction, and a fully departmentalized 7-8 program. There will be approximately 400 students on campus in the 2012-13 school year. |
